Drawer Runners

Since Compac Home first began making furniture back in 1995, our products have improved substantially thanks to updated capabilities and advancing technology.

The first drawer units were equipped with plastic drawer runners, a very durable option that lasted well. These were used from 1995 until 2008.

In 2008, thanks to greater factory capability and improved supply chains, a great improvement came with the metal roller runners. These provided durability and greatly improved the user experience, making the sliding smoother and the drawer weight capacity greater.

Today we use the new and improved ball bearing, full extension runners. These provide an even smoother experience, hold up to 20kgs and allow maximum accessibility to the very back of the drawer.

Here at Compac we will continue to innovate new ways to improve the sustainability, lifetime, and functionality of our products.

Watch the below video to learn how to remove and install our full-extension drawer runners.
