Innovative solution to social housing needs

Mahana House is top-performing commercial construction company Naylor Love’s solution to New Zealand’s social housing problem – offering healthy, sustainable, practical family homes.

All or most of the home can be produced off site, then assembled on site; more of a manufacturing approach than a conventional building process.

A key part of speeding the construction was finding an alternative to labour and time- intensive gibbing and interior painting.

Compac Commercial collaborated on the project, supplying high-spec wall lining made of laminated MDF from Compac Panels, saving time and providing a durable, easy care solution that will retain its good looks for longer.
